How to look & sound great
Use earphones
Use earphones/earbuds/headphones instead of the built-in speakers, so that you can hear us clearly without noise-cancellation kicking in.
Position the camera
Angles matter! Raise the webcam/camera to eye level, and make sure there are no strong light sources behind you. Most cameras adjust the brightness automatically depending on the scene they capture, and facing the window diagonally makes you look more flattering.
It is also a good idea to keep your camera stationary, as movements tend to increase the bandwidth usage.
Check the network
Our platform above does a basic check to see if your connection is good. If it isn’t, here are some ways to solve it.
Request those sharing the internet with you to minimise video-viewing or heavy downloads
Try hard-wiring from your router direct to your device using an Ethernet cable
Try using your 4G hotpot. There is a chance it may be better than your shared internet line.
